Rustic Ride
Hello,
My name is Zainab Redha Sajwani, I’m 17 years old. My love for art started at a very young age, however, only recently I started sharing my work on social media. I use art as an escape from everything going on.
This painting is called “Rustic Ride”

This painting was inspired by one of the antique shops in Souq Muttrah. It was drawn on an A4
sized paper using watercolors and acrylic paint.
I felt that the best way to make the painting
stand out was to add a background that gave it a vintage/rustic look as it matched the antique
theme.
This was achieved by using shades of yellow, brown and a bit of copper paint. Originally
the car was painted 3 years ago, but after a lot of practices my skills improved so I decided to fix
it and make it look more realistic.
This piece is a recreation of the painting “The Creation of God” by Michelangelo
