Hello everyone! I'm Sultan Al Balushi, I'm 17 years old, today I'll be taking over 2000 magazine's story. I'm an Omani artist and photographer. My interest in art was there ever since I was young and I would always be drawing and colouring, but I truly became active in the art world in 2015, I was trying out more than one medium, and in 2016 I started learning photography and really putting it into practice

 

 My family played a big role in my start, especially my sister, she always supported and directed me, after 2016 I neglected drawing for two years, it was rarely that I drew, I lost the passion and spirit, but towards the end of 2018 while I was looking for the type of art that would suit me, I found the "art of illustration", I practiced it until I reached the level that I am at now.

 

I opened an instagram account and people started to know me! I started getting questions like: why did you choose this type of art? I chose it because it represents me, but at the same time this type of art isn't drawn on canvases and is mostly digital. I chose it because it can be interpreted in many ways. I also love to draw from Omani culture because it is rich with decoration, clothes, and architecture.

 

My biggest goals are to open an exhibition for my art, have a studio with my name, and to study interior design.
