Hi everyone! My name is fouz Hussain. I’m 17 years old and just graduated from the sultans school. I started my brand WYN, and the name is taken off my own name, as Fouz in Arabic means victory and winning, which I played with to get WYN.

 

My interest in arts was present at a young age. I’m the youngest of 4, and my two sisters loved to visit art galleries whenever we travelled, which made me appreciate art and take IGCSE visual art. 

 

My first collection was aimed to support a cause that many people in Oman struggle with, which is heart disease. I decided to paint a heart on t-shirts, with half of the proceeds being donated to a heart health charity. 

 

I’m extremely lucky to have my siblings and friends support me with my account. From the finances and logistics and even deliveries. I can always depend on my siblings. My friends continue to support me by modeling my pieces and helping with my posts

 

During the pandemic we did struggle to find supplies and overall adapt to the new routine.

However, we have a very supportive following which made things a lot smoother and less stressful. We are working. On a new collection and sharing some other art pieces in the future, so please stay tuned on wyn.design.
